II. Turin was born in the middle world of Tolkien in the 2815 year of the third age. In 2882 Turin became the steward of Gondor. Meanwhile, the Orcs and the Haradrim people attacked Ithilien. Turin and the king of Rohan together attacked the Haradrim armies. Turin won this war. But the war was quite devastating. So the people of Gondor left Ithilien. Ithilien has become a desolate place. Turin then continued to strengthen the Gondor army. Turin passed away in 2914 of the third age
