Besides being famous with a beautiful nature, animal and florest, Aceh is also famous with good culinary. Because many tourists who comes to Aceh besides bringing home something like tshirt, craft or souvenir, they also bring home Aceh's culinary. It is the typical tourist who visit Aceh.

This area has very many typical foods that are very seductive to the tongue, which is passed down from generation to generation. All recipes are stored from the past and used until now by the people.

Udeung Acid or Shrimp Acid is a typical Acehnese food, one of Aceh's cultural heritage. If seen from all histories, Aceh culinary can not be separated from the influence of local culture of Aceh community itself combined with foreign culture as big port long times ago, that finally formed the region of Aceh in the past.
