Zebra cart in 1930s Calcutta
This is a picture of a Zebra cart being used as a mode of transport in Calcutta in the 1930s
BEST tram service in Mumbai in the year 1952. The service were eventually discontinued and made way for buses to become the sole transport carrier from BEST
The tram service in Mumbai, which was introduced in 1874, was stopped in 1964.
The first Indian lady pilot, Sarla Thakral, at 21 years of age.
Air india employee manually updating the airline flight schedule in the year 1963.
This image of Tagore & Einstein brings geniuses from worlds apart together.
Rabindranath Tagore, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and Sir Maurice Gwyer at Sinha Sadan after the Oxford University Convocation on 7th of August 1940.

It was just a travelling back to the past. By comparing these photos with the present world we realize how much our world have changed. Once, India had not so much population. Hence, she has a lot of opportunities and free space in our cities but our over population has degraded our country a lot.
Yes you are right are over population is effect are country growth same were.
