The Ancient city of India - Hampi. Beautiful place to visit monuments and History

Hampi is an ancient city and it has been mentioned in the Ramayana and according to historians it was called by the name of Kishkindha, in fact, from the 13th to the 16th century, this city is rich in the capital of Vijayanagara kings.  Located in the northern part of Karnataka, Hampi is only 350 kilometers away from Bangalore, This is UNESCO's World Heritage Site, which attracts millions of tourists every year. To fully experience the grandeur of Hampi's potholes, like other tourists, you can also visit these potholes in a spare time by using a bicycle. Why do tourists come to Hampi - Hampi are famous for their religious history, apart from the beautiful architecture of their Khandheras. There are many famous temples, including Veerupaksha temple, Vithal temple and Anjanyadri temple. Tungabhadra river, one of the major rivers of Karnataka, flows in this city, and provides a wonderful natural environment near these potholes. The natural stones of the surrounding mountains are the source of these huge rocky banks which were used by the kings of Vijayanagara for carved pillars of impressive stones of temples of Hampi.

In addition to the temples and natural scenery, there are many water tanks and other public buildings built here with great beauty, which show the town planning skills of the kings of Vijayanagara. The watershed and the canals here show a glimpse of the 13th-15th century water management system.

There are more than 500 sights to see here from the salonians, and more than 100 of these places attracts thousands of tourists every year. The stone chariot of the Vithal temple stands as a symbol of the tradition of the carved rocks of the kings of Vijayanagara and has been adopted as the symbol of the tourism department of the state. Even today, excavation in Hampi continues and artworks are searched every day. The Archaeological Museum here is also a sight to visit for tourists visiting Hampi. Due to its establishment, the kings of Vijayanagara chose Hampi / Vijayanagar as their capital. Also, this place is surrounded by hills from all sides and the Tungabhadra river flowing on one side makes it a difficult place for the invasion of enemies. Today, the slopes and rivers of these hills provide tourists with unforgettable natural beauty and archaeological glory. Do not forget to see this symbol of traveler of South India traveling to Hoysala architecture.

oh my... i'm going to south of India in 3 months (for 20 days). I am building my itinerary right now... plan to go to Chennai, Madurai, Kerela... but Hampi look so great. Up and follow... can you do the same? :-)
