Teungku M. Daud Beureueh was born on 15 September 1899 in a village called "beureueh" in Keumangan, Aceh Pidie.
Daud Beureueh is a fighter and a young cleric who is greatly admired by the people of Aceh, his name will always live in the hearts of aceh people due to his courageous and assertive charism in leading the struggle to defend the religion of Islam and fight for the dignity of the nation of Aceh, but very unfortunate when he deceived by the Indonesian government at the time of President Sukarno under the pretext of granting Privileges to Aceh.
