Karma, Morality & Conquest.
The world runs on natural selection and the human species is not excluded. Only the strong survives. Not the most moral. In fact, morality is for the the weak and when the weak is eliminated the universe celebrates. Toasts are made at the obliteration of the weak, not Karma.

The universe is too busy with a lot of important things to be busy with Karma. Like the planets not colliding into each other. The sun not collapsing onto the earth and obliterating everything on planet earth. So on and so forth. Karma is the consolation of the weak. Just like religious people in despair would say God will provide or God will judge you or it is well.
Morality
Morality is a learned virtue. It is not natural to us. No other animal in the world relies on morality for their day to day dealings with other animals. Pure hunter, hunted instincts. Pure self preservation instincts.
Morality has its benefits though, as it helps tone down the "savage" side of us and allows us settle a lot of problems out of court. That is, some actions of ours that would result to disputes are first judged within self, weighed and are decided upon as not morally right, so not "good" to be acted out. But there are those who don't have this burden of morality. The transatlantic slave trade proves it.
I arrived at this point of thought when I was scratching my head about being African, as against being from any other continent.
The relationship between Africa and the rest of the world has largely been influenced and determined by the transatlantic slave trade. Which means that, Africa has let itself become an exploitation ground. Initially through just shere force of human will, then later through design.
The Strong Eats The Weak
I look at the problems facing the continent of Africa, even though they all require very little effort and critical thinking to fix, I don't see a solution been effected anytime soon. Not in the next hundred years.
This thought frustrates me, it does, so much that I had to let out a thought - imagine how much I could have achieved if I was born in a first world nation. Within a well structured society and good support system, I would have achieved 100 times more than I currently have. I thought to myself.
Then it dawned on me that I would have most probably become one of the exploiters of Africa, say I was born in the US or Britain, China, Russia or even the Arab nations.
This signifies that there's only always two sides to how the world is organised. The exploited and the exploiters. So if I feel so bad for how bad Africa has it, there's only one non-utopian solution, and that is being on the giving end of the brutality that Africa has been receiving. Because no strong nation becomes so by being "good" or nonexploitative. Either be the weak and be eaten or be the strong that eats the weak.
No Justice For The Weak
The universe is a conquest arena. The strong is given permission to eat the weak. There are no designated repercussions for such actions. Everything ultimately gets punished anyways, just for existing. So even the strong can sometimes get smashed by the unending sequence of life and not as a direct repercussion of the "evil deeds" against others.
The only guarantees are that even when the strong stop being strong, they hardly become too weak to be pushed over. But the weak are usually guaranteed to be wiped off the face of the earth unless they stop being weak and start fighting for their rights to exist and survive and this is by strategically dealing blows instead of receiving.
If you let others punch you without consequences, they will justify it and use you as punching bag. The universe will see you as punching bag and those that are punching you as boxers. Nature abhors the weak. The weak are given as food to the strong so as to continue the perpetuation of the universe.
When Europeans first went to America, they not only enslaved the ingenious Americans (Red Indians), they ultimately cleansed them from their own land. Same thing happened in Australia and Canada. Now you have foreigners who were originally from Britain, Spain and France being the major occupants and rulers of US, Canada and Australia.
There's no justice from the universe for the Native Americans, or the Aborigines of Australia and Canada. Just like there's none for Africa for being plundered, enslaved and killed in their millions by Europeans. There's no justice for the antelope that gets eaten by the lion. It's just the way of the world.
Britain, Russia, France, USA, Germany, Belgium, China, Japan have been responsible for some of the highest atrocities committed in the largest proportions against countries weaker than them and against humanity in general, but they are still here and still striving.
