Hero XPulse seen during launch, ready to launch

The Hero XPulse 200 was first seen as a concept model in the 2017 EICMA Motorcycle Show. After this, the company introduced it in 2018 Auto Expo. In the past one-and-a-half years, there has been a lot of anticipation which has been built around the motorcycle and it seems that Hero Motocorp is ready to launch XPulse 200 in the market. Recently this motorcycle has been seen during the testing and it will soon be rolled out on Indian roads. 190mm travel telescopic forks at the front of the bike and a monshock of 170 mm will be given in the rear. The bike's seat height is 825mm, which can cause problems for small riders.

Hero XPulse will have a 200 cc single-cylinder engine with the same Hero Xtreme 200R, which generates torque of 18 bhp and 17.1 Nm of torque. The engine will be equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, it is believed that the company will tune its engine to lower raves and gearing ratios. The red unit will also be given in Regular Xpulse 200, which looks like a custom model and does not have a bashplate, front mudguard and rear tail-piece. Apart from this, the step design will come with a flat seat instead of a seat, which will be a little longer. There is no confirmation that this is a special edition unit or will be sold with Regular XPulse 200.

During EICMA 2018, Hero also showcased the XPulse 200T, which would be a road-based variant of Off-Road Ready XPulse 200. In all probability, both motorcycles can be launched simultaneously. According to Hero MotoCorp, XPulse can take 200T as a towier. Bike has been designed keeping in mind the practical requirements of touring motorcycles, which focuses on ergonomics, and it has been loaded with large luggage plates.
