minatamis na mani

"Minatamis na mani" literally mean sweetened peanut. As the name implies it is peanuts sweetened with sugar. This is my candy when I was young. It is only sold for one peso per piece.

It is prepared by drying peanuts under the sun. Then lots of sugar are melted then poured into the mold at filled with dried peanuts. There is nothing special about it. but if you like peanuts and sweets, this delicacy is surely a nice hit.
