Carnal Minded
If a person is carnally-minded, even if he is born again, if he reasons and acts like the natural man if he lives according to the senses. He would still be more more attuned, and concerned about the things of the flesh. The Word and the spiritual realities of the Kingdom hardly get his attention.
When the Bible talks about the Worldly mind, it doesn’t mean a sinful mind per se, even though the worldly mind is liable to sin. A worldly mind means a mind that is ordinary, a mere human knowledge, just normal human life.
Carnal Christian walks purposely with God. He didn't give chance to be ruled by or subject to the Word of God, a state that leads to separation from everything gracious and divine. Why should anyone live in that kind of base level?
You are after the Spirit if your affection only if your time and energies are focused on the things pertaining to Christ, His Gospel, and the eternal life that He has given us. So, allow the Word of God control your life
Let the Spirit rule you and allow the Word of God to govern you. Don't be attracted to fleshly things. What are the things that incite you up? Recall that where a man’s treasure is, is where his heart will be also.
