GOD KNOWS OUR NEEDS BEFORE WE ASK.

How do you talk to your Father? Do you talk to Him like you talk to your earthly father?

Look at Matthew 6:7-8. It makes us understand that our requests are known by Him before we ask; implying that He is more disposed to answering us than we are to ask. We are not trying to get Him in the notion of hearing and answering us.

We are not getting Him off His busy schedule to spare a moment and maybe answer us. We are not to think that if we bug Him long enough, He would eventually reluctantly listen to us and give in to our demands. No!

He wants to answer you! He is poised to give you the thing requested.

"Now during praying, you folks should not babble (or: make repetitious utterances ; stack up meaningless phrases; or: stutter; speak without thinking; use empty words) – even as those of the ethnic multitudes (pagans; nations).

You see, they habitually imagine and continuously suppose that in their much speaking (or: using many words; or: saying the same thing many times ) they will be fully heard and really listened to.

"So then, you folks should not be made to resemble them, for before the occasion for you to ask Him, God, your Father, has seen and thus knows (is aware) of what things you continue having need.

When talking to your Father, don't beat about the bush! Go straight to the point and be assured of the answer. You will save yourself so much headache and time. Remember

"It is my Father's pleasure to give you the kingdom". Also remember "He that asketh, receiveth". Ask and you will receive. He didn't say you should harangue Him over and over again like if He is deaf, no sir! It's the prophets of Baal that had to do that.

Pray like Elijah! Specific and straight to the point. The way you would want your son or daughter to come to you and ask for stuff!. He loves you so much!
