1 CORINTHIANS 4:2

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

We were all created on planet earth by God to be fruitful and as long as we are not fruitful, we would be cut off.

We are is workers, created for a purpose and the purpose of our existence must be actualized.

ISAIAH 5:1-6

Now, will I sing to my well-beloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard My well-beloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.
And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?
And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor dug, but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

There is something He has deposited in our lives and wants to take profit in our lives that is why He is keeping us. Everything He has deposited in our lives is according to our abilities, He knows we can handle them that is why He deposited that talent, gift, abilities inside of us and expect us to make good use of it for His glory. He can only ask you what He has given you.

Anyone who refuses to bring forth fruits shall be cut down. There shall be weeping and gnashing to teeth for anyone who buries God's investment or cannot make a profit. There are outer darkness and every tree that does not bear fruit shall be cut off.

LUKE 13:6-7

Then Jesus told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He went to look for fruit on it but did not find any.
So he said to the keeper of the vineyard, ‘Look, for the past three years I have come to search for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Therefore cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?

Our lives on earth were for a purpose and our lives therefore must achieve that purpose and must profit God. We must also be aware that one day, we shall stand before God and give an account of ourselves to God. That talent must not be buried. Use it for there shall be profit.

MARK 11:12-14, 19-20

The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry.
Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.
Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
When evening came, Jesus and his disciples[c] went out of the city.
In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots.

We are expected to be a steward who would make a profit for our home country and make our creator proud that He took His time to create us. His investments in creation were for his pleasure. If He doesn't gain, then His labors and investment would have been wasted.
