How Praying With SALT Broke a Curse of Many Years - Pst. E.A. Adeboye

I believe you must have been reading posts about how important praying with salt is; how praying with salt could bring good luck to you and your family. Some persons would tell you that if you spinkle salt by the edges of your wall while praying, your prayers would be answered speedily. Well, still having doubts about these people's posts? I was listening to one of the messages of Pastor E.A. Adeboye (the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God) which message was focussed on "Breaking Generational Curses." Then, he threw more insights on praying with salt while backing his teachings with the scriptures (as usual.)

First of all, he made mention of how Joshua placed a curse on the inhabitants of Jericho and the land became fruitless, also, the water was naught for many years.

And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.

Joshua:6:26

Luckily for the Children of Jericho, they Prophet of God, Elisha on his way back after he had received the Mantle from Elijah and how he parted the waters. So they ran to meet him.

And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

2 Kings:2:15

And the men of the city said unto Elisha, Behold, I pray thee, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord seeth: but the water is naught, and the ground barren.

2 Kings:2:19

And he said, Bring me a new cruse, and put salt therein. And they brought it to him.

2 Kings:2:20

And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land.

2 Kings:2:21

So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake.

2 Kings:2:22

Till date, barrenness was eliminated from the land.

Salt is very important, that's why the Bible says we are the salt of the earth

You could also pray with other things like handkerchief, olive oil, garlic, sand, water, etc. with Faith according to the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT...

May God break away every generational curses from your lives in Jesus' Name. Amen
