INTRODUCTION
Heart attack is one of the deadly or killer disease if not treated on time can result in death. This menace of a disease has sent so many people to their early graves. And it has really eaten deep into the human's existence,to the extent that people harbor fear whenever the disease is being mentioned. This is healthy,So I'll be taking you through the possible causes and the symptoms of heart attack, how we can prevent ourselves from having it and the possible treatment for it.
👉 What is heart❤️ Attack?
This can be referred to as a situation when the blood stop from flowing to the heart muscle due to a blockage. A heart attack can happen suddenly, that's why it is a medical emergency situation. And this can happen when a blood clot blocks the flow of blood to the heart. So without adequate flow of blood to the heart, tissues loses oxygen and dies.
👉 What are the causes of heart attack and what are the risks factors?
I think one of the major causes of heart attack is LACK OF EXERCISE, remember that when there's no blood flow to the heart muscle, there's tend to be a blockage which can lead to heart attack. So in order to maintain this blood flow, we must as a necessity include exercise in our daily routine. Because by exercising we allow the flow of blood freely to different parts of our bodies including the heart. For instance, a little running or jumping up, we'll notice that the tempo of the heart will begin to beat or pump faster. That action will sure make the blood to circulate and not to clot.
Another causes of heart attack is SMOKING. we all know that smoking is detrimental to health. Not everything we should take in the name of deriving pleasure, there are some pleasures that are unto self destruction. So my friends please let's flee from smoking if we want to live a healthy and long life.
https://Freepik.com/Unhealthy diet is another causes of heart attack.
https://Freepik.com/ This can lead to obesity, which can eventually results in heart attack, we've been hearing of stories about how someone would sleep and never woke up. This is a clear case of heart attacked. And also consuming to much of salt (sodium) in our diet can raise the blood pressure. https://Freepik.com/We should refrain from consuming too much of salt, especially raw salt.
*The risk factors would be resulting in high blood pressure
*Obesity: which I have mentioned before, we should watch what we eat.
👉 What are the heart attack symptoms?
People can experience pains in different areas like:
*Shoulder blades
*Arm
*Chest
*Jaw
*Left arm or upper arm
*Abdomen.
And the pain types can be :
burning in the chest.
or like a clenched fist in the chest.
Pain can occur during rest.
And also in the whole body one can feel
dizziness.
fatigue.
light-headedness.
clammy skin.
cold sweat
or sweating
Gastrointestinal: indigestion, nausea, or vomiting
Discomfort or tightness in the neck
Discomfort or tightness in the arm
👉 How can we prevent ourselves from having heart attack.
*By exercising regularly: This help the circulating of blood to the heart
*By eating healthy diet: This can boost our immune system.
- By avoiding smoking
*By regulating blood sugar level
*By getting enough sleep: human body needs at least 8 hours sleep period per day.
👉 What are the treatment for heart attack?
First of all consult your doctor or visit any hospital and carry out a blood test , or conduct an x-ray, to know the damage caused. Then the medical personnel would take it from there and advice you accordingly on what is to be done to salvage or remedy the situation.
👉 What are the heart attack prognosis and the complications?
Statics shows that, the survival rate of a heart attack is about 97 to 98% that's in long term rate. which comes with a sudden cardiac arrest.
Complications of a heart attack
Some types are very dangerous and can stop the heart from beating.
There's what we called cardiogenic shock: This is where the heart's muscles are severely damaged and can no longer contract properly to circulate enough blood to maintain many body functions. Heart rupture :– Here the heart's muscles, walls or valves split apart (rupture).
I hope you'll learn one or two from this post, because no knowledge is wasted.
THANK YOU
