This is a type of headache that occurs in the Neck region. The cause of the headache originates from the neck and the pain is felt in the head.

Pain is felt in the affected part of the head.
The patient experiences stiffness in the neck.
Pain can also extend to the forearm, and the eyes.
The patient finds it difficult to move their neck.

As Human beings advance in age, they is wear and tear in the Tendons and Muscles which can cause this Ailment.Poor posture
Certain sitting position and standing posture can has an impact on the Neck region.Heavy Load
Carrying heavy loads can can stain on the Neck muscle.

Pain relieving drugs like Ibuprofen, Diclofenac, Paracetamol can be taken to reduce pain.Injection
Corticosteroids Injection can also be given to relieve swelling.Physical therapy
Exercise and massage can also be given to relieve pain.
In extreme cases if the headache doesn't stop, it is advisable to go to the hospital.

They was a day I felt this headache. That very day, I entered a bus while returning from the market and on getting out of the bus, i hit my head on the Door and after a few days, i had this headache. Mine was continuously for a whole week and the pain was very excruciating.
