If this situation of mental, physical and emotional tension is prolonged, you can:

-Destroy your rest and sleep pattern
-Generate a generalized chronic fatigue
-Intervene in normal body recovery processes
-Prevents proper digestion of your food
-It affects your immune system causing diseases
-An affectation in the levels of sugar (glucose) in the blood
-Among many other consequences that you definitely do not want to have in your life ...

That is why it is important that we do not fight against stress, but take action to eliminate it in a healthy way.

This is what I have put into practice myself and it has given me great results.

What do I do to eliminate stress?

The Pilates method

It is a complete body education, where the body is worked as a whole, making the whole musculature act, and involving the body and mind in conjunction.

It is based on slow, controlled exercises, performed with specific machines under supervision to find the accuracy of the exercises performed with few repetitions. Breathing, concentration, control and alignment are the other key concepts of the method.

The Pilates method reinforces the musculature, trying to reach a muscular balance that increases, finally, the control, the strength and the flexibility, respecting the back and the joints.

It is interesting for those people who have not done physical activity and are looking for a means to introduce themselves, as well as for those who seek a high level of perfection, such as elite athletes or performing artists (ballet, circus, etc.).


The six essential principles of this method are control, concentration, fluency, precision, breathing and center. Precisely, with this last principle, Pilates refers to a specific area of the body called the center of force, which is also known as the mansion of power. This area would be formed by the abdominal muscles, the base of the back and the buttocks and the intention is that, through its strengthening, the rest of the body parts are exercised.

Its main objective is not to burn calories, but to strengthen the muscles and increase the control, strength and flexibility of our body. Although, like all physical exercise, it implies an increase in energy expenditure and, therefore, also contributes to maintaining a balanced weight.
