Now, to get to today's post - a very important and effective treatment we have found for staph & MRSA!

Staphylococcus are a strain of bacteria; there are 30 types of staph, and Staphylococcus aureus is the most common. These bacteria can live on the skin of human beings. To anyone with a healthy immune system, the bacteria is no threat. When the immune system is compromised, conditions are ripe for a staph infection to wreak havoc on the system.

Staph may enter the body through a cut or wound. It is communicable through contact with an infected individual, but again it is no problem for a strong immune system.

In traditional western medicine, penicillin was prescribed for staph infections. As the bacteria mutated, more powerful antibiotics were prescribed. Some strains of staph have developed resistance to these stronger antibiotics, and these MRSA infections (methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) are even harder to treat. 

Many staph and MRSA infections occur in hospitals. In fact, MRSA is so common in "healthcare" settings, that there are now 2 types of categorization: HA-MRSA (hospital-acquired MRSA) and CA-MRSA (community-acquired MRSA).
