Compound in Red Wine Found to Display Anti Stress and Antidepressant Effects
A study from the University of Buffalo found that a compound in red wine called resveratrol displays anti-stress and antidepressant effects by blocking the expression of an enzyme related to the control of stress in the brain.

Resveratrol, which has been linked to a number of health benefits, is a compound found in the skin and seeds of grapes and berries.
The new study, published in the journal Neuropharmacology, resveratrol was found to display neuroprotective effects against the stress hormone corticosterone by inhibiting the expression of an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4).

There are a lot of people who get angry when they drink red wine. I've seen people firsthand get angry after drinking it. Supposedly, it's kind of common.
