Skin is the largest organ in our body. Acne, scars, rashes, discolorations and allergies are not just a beauty blemishes, It is also a symptom of a deeper problem.

AYURVEDA - is a Hindu style of medicine, based on the balance of body system which uses diet, yoga breathing and natural and herbal medicine.

In the ayurveda, skin issues are related to to Dosha imbalance caused by diet and lack of discipline in lifestyle, causing the skin to be dry, dull or with allergic rash. Climate, age and medical conditions are also some influence of skin issues.

Skin care

Cleansing - toning - moisturising - exfoliation, Are the basic foundation of our skincare. It maintains our skin's natural condition. Skin care products from the supermarket can bleach our skin natural goodness, I am not saying that do not use skin care products from the supermarket, the point is, try to use a product that has less ingredients. In this you can minimize the unwanted ingredients to make a natural, youthful skin. Some articles i have encounter and strongly agree about it, Is external beauty products are less or have a very little effect on our skin appearance, what is more counted is the intake of our diet and that manifest in our skin appearance, body and mind.

Medical Tips for Skin health

  1. Minimize your coffee or tea. I know some of you love coffee, but a lot of caffeine intake, doesn't always do very good in our body when consume excessively. Caffeine is a diuretic -
    it get rids the water in the body. Balance is the key.

  2. Enough intake of water for.

  3. Increase more fiber in the diet.

  4. Reducing consumption of meat.

  5. Including nuts in our diet can benefits our skin and body at best.


Some Natural skin care and Treatment for a glowing skin

Natural moisturizers

  • mix yoghurt, honey and oats. Apply in a cleansed face. Leave it for 10 min and wash it off.

To control oilliness

  • fresh alovera mixed with honey. Apply in the skin. Leave it for 10 min and rinse off. Effective for clogged skin.

Facial oil massage

  • oil is best to apply at night for better absorption of the skin. a simple DIY facial massage can work wonders for our complexion.

Warm the oil a bit and apply to the skin 2 -3 times a week in the night. It will stimulate lymph drainage, reduce water retention and blood circulation. Almond oil, coconut oil and sesame oil are recommended for it's skin friendly properties.

haha - i know. i have been drinking tea too all day long, but i try to drink water after every tea to replace the fluid lost in our system. thank you for reading mam. xx

yes @andresrey, because caffeine is diuretic, perhaps you may need to drink more water after you drink coffee to balance out the in the body. thank you for dropping.
