This article resumes a study that evaluates the association between the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and nephrotic syndrome. The odds ratio (OR) for the development of nephrotic syndrome was higher with the use of of NSAIDs. Acetic acid and propionic acid derivatives were associated with higher risk
