The Fair Trade Shop Cebu

I have always wanted to drink coffee made from roasted corn.

One time, I went to Banco de Oro off Jones Avenue, when I chanced upon the store beside it, named THE FAIR TRADE SHOP CEBU. I just got to go in. And I was awed by all the natural and organic stuff that they are selling.

It seemed like all the locally made goods and products converged in one special place to delight any natural living enthusiasts at heart. The store is quiet small, it gives a very quaint feeling just like being in your granny's kitchen.

Some green snacks and because junk foods are kinda boring.

Rarely found flaxseed in pouches

So I was browsing through some stuff, and got these on the counter:

Coconut oil, to try oil pulling, turmeric tea, roasted corn coffee from Naga and Argao farmers, and not seen are a jar of Spanish sardines made in Bantayan, Cebu, local wild honey and chocolates from Davao.

If you would like to try social and environment conscious shopping one day, visit the place. By buying, you will also be helping improve the living standards and living conditions of many farmers, workers and producers from localities within Cebu and neighboring provinces, thereby creating a sustainable supply of high quality goods and products for conscious consumers to enjoy.

Meanwhile, let me enjoy my daily dose of coffee.
