I think that the best way to remain sexually pure until marriage, and then be faithful in that marriage. In such a situation, where both the man and woman have done so, there is not only a lack of fear of STDs, but the sexual relationship becomes something special that only the two people in the marriage have together, rather than the spouse being "just one more person they've slept with."
