A Serious Fall
A fall could be more serious if the child is less than 6 months old. This is because, at that age, their bones are still developing. They are not as strong as they should be.
If vomiting is experienced after the fall, seek medical intervention. Also, if you notice the child acting confused after the fall. Serious falls involve falling from a high place or landing on something sharp or hard.

Swelling
Consider it an emergency if your child has a swollen eye, lip or tongue. These symptoms could signal to an extreme allergic reaction. Always keep an antihistamine near you or an EpiPen.
Severe allergic reactions that lead to swelling can be life threatening. Especially when accompanied by hives and vomiting.
Abrupt Weight Loss
If your child experiences a significant loss of weight, call the doctor. Moreover, if you cannot pinpoint the cause for the loss of weight. Get a doctor to intervene, in case the problem may be serious.
Decrease in Urination
This symptom is usually accompanied by dry skin, dry lips and/or vomiting. These symptoms signal to a severe case of dehydration. Severe dehydration can lead to shock. Have your child drink a lot of fluids, as well as see a doctor.
