A Day in the Life of a Homeopath: 11th Dec 2017

1: update. Male. 5 years old. India. Lead toxicity. Continuing lead detox, continuing improvement & speech starting! Previous hair mineral test had shown incredibly high levels of lead in his tissues. Lead poisoning is known to cause delays in comprehension, lower IQ, chronic constipation & other symptoms commonly found in autism.

2. New enquiry. Tokyo, Japan. 5 yrs. Male. Autism. Referred from another patient. Regression after vaccines at 1.3 years old. OAT test: yeast/fungus high (common with metal toxicity). High lead, mercury & Barium in hair test. Already tried to use a CEASE therapist, but they were inexperienced. Currently using a biomedical doctor - supplements are helping his cognitive development. Symptoms: Just delayed speech (single words only), some delay in understanding. No other autism-like symptoms. Booked-in for new year.

3. New patient. Berlin, Germany. Male in his 40s. Presenting symptom: Psychosis + poor memory, poor mineral absorption. Cannot work due to constant anxiety levels & fatigue. Very psychically open, can absorb other's energy (which leaves him exhausted). A fascinating case. Diagnosed with Psychosis & on psych meds for a year which just turned him into a zombie.
Analysis: After taking the case, I don’t feel this is toxin related (patient suspected tropical vaccines or amalgam filling removal), I think this is a case of mental/emotional problems due to childhood trauma & possible abuse.
Prescription: Ayahuasca 200c for 4 weeks.

4. Update. 14 yrs. Male. Australia. PANDAS. Big reaction to Phosphorus remedy! Croup-like symptoms 5 minutes after the first dose! A beautiful example of Herrings Laws of Direction of Cure, in this case it was a return of old symptoms from past. Doing brilliantly on the Carcinosin though, much less anxiety. I asked his parents to continue giving the Phosphorus until our next appointment.

5. Update. 8 years. Male. Qatar. Autism. There’s been a few false starts with this case because parents keep using allopathic medications (parent is a medical doctor). Currently on Sulphur LM1 for his inflamed & itchy skin. Aggghhh didn’t give the Sulphur! Instead they repeated a previous prescription I’d given: Tarentula 200c & had improved his hyperactivity. Much calmer now.
Analysis: We are about 4 months behind where we should be with this case due to the parents meddling with my prescriptions, or often just not giving them at all. Frustrating.
Prescription: Tarentula 1m

6. Update. 9 years. Male. UK. Autism. No reaction to a previous prescription so I had given some remedies to improve his vitality as I believe he SHOULD have reacted as it was a pretty clear case of regression after vaccination at around 18 months old. No reaction noticed again. What is going on? Mum suspects that Streptococcus bacteria may be involved as his ASO levels were elevated (but not outside normal range)
Analysis: I'm not sure!
Prescription: Thuja 30c (sometimes helps a non-responder to begin reacting to remedies) + Strep 30c (to test mum's theory) + Calc 12c (as a support remedy as I suspect it is his constitutional)

7. Update. Male, 3 years, UK. ASD Teeth grinding during a vaccine detox, mother wants a remedy to help with this. Previously we’ve had fantastic improvements on Calc Carb & he continues to improve well on the detox. Recommended Teething Gel made by Nelsons + continue the detox. His language is progressing - has started responding to questions for the first time. All good!

8. Follow-up appointment. Male, 8 years. USA. Autism. Previously we have detoxed steroids & have just finished detoxing ‘flu vaccines. He also ‘proved’ the support remedy, Hyoscyamus (i.e he started exhibiting strong symptoms of the remedy, in this case...getting naked in public!). Ok, I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with this one. Clear detox response to the ‘flu vaccs (green poops, the lot), but no improvement.
Analysis: Interestingly we had TWO regressions with this case - one after vaccines at age around 2, then a further one after speech therapy at 5 years old. After the stress/trauma of speech therapy his mouth/lips/tongue became 'paralysed'/immobile & this seems to be preventing his speech. I’m going to treat that strange symptom as it was the most recent reaction. I’m fascinated to see how this goes!
Prescription: Causticum 200c Tue/Thr for 4 weeks, then 15-minute update.

9. New enquiry. 3 years. Autism. USA. High fever & then regression after MMR vaccine at 12 months. After MMR vaccine: Fever of 104, eczema on cheeks (which remains), permanent cold/runny nose since. Now toe-walking, banging his head, speech has regressed (still not back to speech level achieved at 1 year old). Failed by medical system. Doctors denied any possible connection between vaccines & these symptoms. I look forward to helping this kid. Booked in for January.

10. Follow-up. Male, 8 years. USA. Autism. Previous prescription: Poly Vaccine detox + Tuberculinum-Koch 200c.
‘The Vaccine detox has been a life-changer’. ‘All he wants to do now is talk' (8-weeks ago all we had do was wants & needs...i.e ‘water’). Started reading books (before he had no interests). Instant reaction to the remedies: 3 - 4 diarrhoea episodes (detox symptom) after taking Tuberculinum-Koch remedy each week. Occupational therapist amazed at the explosion in his talking. ‘He’s a different child’. Better eye contact. He wants to interact constantly. Very happy parents!. Has begun colouring-in, able to hold a pen for the first time. Interacting with mum & dad, no more ‘spacing out’. ‘He has a personality now!’
Analysis: What is there to say, a lovely case of vaccine damage healed with homeopathy. Still work to do, but incredible progress in only 8 weeks.
Prescription: Antibiotic Detox + Calc Carb 200c + Agraphus Nutans 30c (often useful if there have been frequent ear infections treated with antibiotics and speech regression)

11. Update. Male. 6 years. UK. Autism. Clear regression after vaccines. Previously given Vaccine detoxes with improvement. Currently we are trying to resolve the strong symptoms associated with abandonment in his early life. He always seeks hugs & reassurances, thanks his mum for not leaving him, has to sleep with parents. Autism also seemed to start after mum left him with relatives in another country for a few months. I had given him Natrum Mur 200c last month for this. Result: Slight changes, more sweating in bed, no longer craving salt, now sweet toothed.
Analysis: Hmmm, I’m not sure if the Nat Mur has moved something (and that’s why no more craving salt), but we haven’t improved these abandonment symptoms yet.
Prescription: Saccharum Off. 200c (sugar) + Lac Maternum 200c (mothers milk)

12. Update. Twins, both male. 4 years. UK. Autism. Lots of vaccines in their picture (normal UK schedule + plenty of travel vaccines), otherwise not much in their timeline to explain the autism symptoms. Previous prescription: Vaccine detox. They are in week 6. Reacting to detox & parents worried as they are exhibiting old behaviours. I reassured them that it's a good sign & we'll catch up in the new year (hopefully with nice improvements to report).

13. Update. Male. 4 years. UK. Autism. In the past we've had fabulous gains from various detoxes: Vaccines, heavy metals, labour drugs + various support remedies. Last prescription was to deal with hyperactivity, concentration, social anxiety. Carcinosin 200c for 4 weeks. We've seen an increase in affection & he's started initiating playing hide & seek. But hyperactivity remains.
Analysis: We are just 'tweaking' now, symptoms are so much improved. This is just a mopping-up of a few remaining symptoms before patient is discharged.
Prescription: Medorrhinum 200c + Kali Phos 6x for 4 weeks

14. Update. Male. 4 years. UK. Autism. High ATEC score (i.e severe autism picture) Previously we have had several vaccine detoxes. Fevers & smelly/runny stools & flatulence on the detox. We've seen improvements overall, but no 'wow' moments. Hair test indicates VERY high Arsenic levels (I'm finding this is fairly common in kids with rice-based diets).
Analysis: Vaccs were clearly A factor in this case, but not THE factor. We keep searching.
Prescription: Heavy Metal detox (including Arsenic) + Calc Carb 200c support remedy.

And now it's 9.40pm & the end of a long day. I'm going to crawl under a blanket to hide from this cold now & watch some bad TV to unwind. Steem on :)
