The Weekly Steemit Health Challenge: CYCLING HEALTHY SPORTS

Happy Night, STEEMIANS.

Welcome to a new day of constructive work in this beautiful platform STEEMIT, today I will talk about cycling as a physical activity that brings health.

In this order of ideas it is necessary to affirm that my first Bicycle was an old one of wheels 28.5 inches and we called it the tractor so heavy it was to handle it, here is a photo of memory of that enormous bicycle.

Always practice cycling, athletics and amateur football, but as time goes by, the years and diseases are charged with creses generated by the organism and forcing to change the life patterns of each person, for this reason at the age of 54. and the health problems that I suffer (Pulmonary Fibrosis), only allow me to cycle slowly for half an hour or so three times a week in the Cinco Águilas Blancas Sports Complex, near the Metropolitan Stadium of Mérida Venezuela.

Despite the condemnation of the years and diseases we must never give up, we simply must adapt to the new conditions of life that time is leaving us, of the sports named now I only do recreational cycling and hiking exercises, and even more, knowing that sport strengthens the way of life of the human being and makes a sedentary lifestyle do not condemn premature aging.


All sports oxygenate the organism, makes neurons stay active for longer, delaying premature aging, makes perspiration eliminate toxins by keeping organs and skin free of mites and consequently oxygenation improves the ability to think and act.
Cycling is a health-giving sport because it strengthens the muscles of the lower extremities, buttocks, abdominals, muscles of the upper extremities, and keeps neurons active, and within sports is one of the most complete.

Among the advantages of practicing cycling to improve health we have: a.-) Improves muscle tone by helping to sculpt, tone the twin muscles, buttocks and abdomen b.-) Helps reduce cellulite. c.-) It improves the circulatory system, reducing blood pressure, by helping in the expansion of the large blood vessels, and therefore reduces the risk of coronary heart disease and increases the body's defenses. d.-) Fortifies the ligaments and tendons and therefore decreases the appearance of osteoarthritis. e.-) Increases the capacity of oxygenation of the organism to amplify the lung capacity and interstitial tissue perfusion pulmonary and peripheral f.-) Balances the weight when burning fat and with the perspiration eliminates toxins g.-) Reduces the possibility of suffering complications of spine or herniated discs by the position that is adopted in the exercise and the weight reduction associated with it h.-) Improves the joints by increasing calcium fixation and slowing premature aging.


Finally, it must be taken into account that hydration is essential in every sport, therefore in cycling you should drink water before, during and after the exercises; You should also do a warm-up exercise before getting on your bike, and try to make sports sections outdoors in less polluted places.
