The Rise of the Stairs Exercise Strengthens the Muscles and Bones (German)

The German Institute for Economic Quality in Germany said that physical activity is very important for strengthening bones and protecting against osteoporosis as they age.

The German Institute said that it is better to exercise in which a person carries the weight of his body, such as climbing stairs, running, walking and strength exercises, compared to other sports such as swimming and cycling.

In particular, postmenopausal women are at risk of osteoporosis, as bone density declines earlier and faster, increasing the risk of bone fractures.

In these cases it is useful to perform exercises in a specific way as well as daily activities.

The German Institute advised training three times for 45 minutes a week, and for people with osteoporosis who had previous fractures, they should seek medical advice to choose the appropriate exercise.
