Living in Canada on the Prairies for over 40 years, it was always a treat for me to escape to the Pacific Northwest - and my favorite of all places was Victoria on Vancouver Island in the Province of British Columbia.
If you think Canadians live in igloos, think again! You rarely need a snow shovel in Victoria, it has the best climate, not cold in Winter, and not sweltering hot in Summer!

All images taken with my old Samsung Pro 815 Digital Camera - it was not that old back then - and 8MP was like top of the line in those days! 12 years after I bought it, it still takes great photos, though I only take it out now on "serious" photo-safaris!
