the search of happiness

The world is moving fast, really fast. Today, all of us have watches on our hand, but we don't have time. Unlike yesterday, when handful of people had clocks but they had plenty of time, plenty of time to talk to their fellow beings, plenty of time to socialize. Our business has increase to an extent that we don't have to call our friends to wish for birthday, we post on facebook wall, "HBD".

Why has our life become so hectic, so time consuming? I think, every individual has an ambition, a desire to achieve some goal and other different reason. What ever the reason is, if we seat back and ask ourself, WHY? Why do I want to so much money? or WHY do I want to get a good job? The ultimate answer would be "coz I wanna become happy".

We are all chasing after one of the means to be our ultimate goal, i.e. happiness. In fact, happiness is derived from hap which can mean "luck or chance". These means have made us slave although we think we free. Like a proverbs says, a free man is a slave as long as he is greedy and a slave is a free as long as he is content. Be content, work hard and stress less.
