HOW did they get the name The Lollipop Shoppe? WAY TOO MEAN to making any lollipop sales! Their song, You Must Be A Witch, just scares the kids away. But it's worth listening to, at Halloween season!

This song is a Killer Garage Punk Classic, as I commented on the video 8 years ago. The band was from Portland Oregon and they were originally The Weeds. Their manager also managed The Seeds, so he renamed them. They did an album with this song on it in 1968.

Starting with some fuzzy guitar, it then adds a fast paced drum part with louder nastier guitar. The Fred Cole comes in on very snotty annoyed vocals. His girl is a witch!

The song is fairly fast and the drums and guitar make a good beat. Grab your phone with @actifit on it and dance, or battle the witch! You can battle on @steemmonsters now, by the way!
