Long Exposure Attempt
I've vowed to commit a bit more into the hobby of photography. I just want to learn. My composition is absolutely terrible, but I'm attempting to post something each day. Hope you will weather this storm with me haha.
This morning I definitely got my feet wet...both figuratively and actually. It was cold and I found I didn't have gloves that were adequate to stay any longer, but I did stick around to take 7 or so photos. I chose this one to post.
What did I learn? I should have brought the better gloves. I need more interest in this photo and the water was barely moving fast enough for the long exposure to "work" in my opinion. Color...I'd like more...seems difficult at the moment in our landscape. I'll keep working though ;)

I’m with Adé on this - I’ve never done much LE photography at all. I don’t even have an ND filter. Are you doing a 365? I did that in 2013 and it was one of the best creative projects I ever did in terms of growth as a creator.
I don't know that I'm committing to 365, just to be more intentional about taking more photos. If it turns out to be 365...I'd be pleased :)
The best way of doing a 365 is not to commit. Then it becomes a bit like watching a snooker player pot red / black / red / black and not commit to a 147 break ha ha
It is a good first one. Like the photo not that much the tones.. would have edit that part differently

This is one of my photographic weaknesses - long exposure. The other is the use of flash.

Oh dude....I'm not sure I'm really worthy to enter the photo contest, haha. I'm really learning. I'm a video guy, but when it comes to photography....I'm a total noob. But if I have something at some point I feel worthy to submit, I'll definitely enter! Thanks for commenting!

Hahahaha. Well I'll continue to try to push your video addiction. Photography is my nemesis :D But I do enjoy it and its really something I can work on this year. Hope to just get better.
nice nice. oh it’s a crazy skill and art. one of my best friends does it for a living and his work is insanely good. better than my pics of my whiteboard lololol
