Quartal Voicing Modal Jazz Practice.
Hi, there Steemit jazz lovers. This one is a little more modern sounding and I use 4th voicings in A-Minor and then to C-Minor. So, yes, I'm still exploring the theme of E-Flat Major here but doing so this time via modal minor key grooves.
I posted a pentatonic practice a while back and I think this is where it becomes quite useful: A-D-E Minor Pentatonics for one section and C-F-G- Minor Pentatonics for the other. I've left a comp track just past halfway.
Any thoughts on using Lydian scales over this groove?
