Fightaids@home update.
Hey all,
News from the fightaids@home project arrived.
Credit: IBM & The World Community Grid.After over 1 billion returned results and a total of 353958 years of run time donated by volunteers who signed up their computer idle processing time, the people from the World Community Grid are reporting that the computational part of the project is finished.
They're now in the proces of evaluating the most promising results of the 600 million docking runs with 1,5 million chemical compounds that has been simulated.
It's been anticipated that it will take about 4 months before the next stage of the project will begin.
They also announced that they have a new team member working on the project.
