What a bank has for sale is information?
I was told to go in to have a debit card I have had for years reissued as my credit union claimed there was a charge on my card that was not authorized. They simply shut it down immediately.
What I found odd was that in the past, they simply removed charges like that. ..didn't happen very often, and then I was able to keep the same debit card.
When I asked if they were running on the Quantum Financial System in conjunction with their old system, the Credit Union official paused and said he couldn't tell me too much, but admitted when I asked if "they would be fully switched over soon to the QFS by September. . .early September?" [Time line continuum 2022]
Next up. . .as I went about in town functioning, once I forgot I put in my old pin and told the young cashier sorry about that when machine flared the card was declined. . .I told her I had put in my old pin as I had the same debit card forever and they made me go in to get another one. I was surprised initially when she told me they had made her do the same at her bank and how it was an ordeal because you have to go in, in person. When a mentioned the QFS to her, she didn't bat an eye. . .she seemed aware.
Next up at various places I would hear the same thing happen to other people where they would claim they were forced to go in and get a new debit card. As they would tell their story whether it be customer or worker. . .someone else would pop in and say, "that happened to me!"
