Manners Matter (Train Them While They're Young)

Good evening all.

Arianni (my daugher), the super extroverted Miss Congeniality is a hardcore greeter. She literally says hello to everyone. A few days ago at the beach, we were with my friends having cups of coffee. She started taking the time greeting every stranger who crosses our path. One parent says hi to her and told her daughter to say hi back to Arianni. The kid says, "Ayaw ko"/"I don't like". Arianni just smiled and said "Nice to meet you". Well, I taught Arianni since she was a little to look beyond the surface and treat other people fairly and with respect even when they don’t like her. It doesn't matter if you get high grades in school. What matters is your manners.
