GoChain - Reputation is the Key

What began a few months ago as the brilliant idea of ​​a group of visionary professionals, is today an undeniable reality. With its Mainnet running, testnet of proven effectiveness, the creation of its currency (GO) and its first certified node (KuCoin), has crystallized.

In addition, they have made remarkable progress in cooperation throughout the Cypto community by meeting with developers of decentralized applications through initiatives such as BuildEth.
Its inclusion in Blockfolio and MyEtherWallet testify to its scalability and the support that its personalized token has.
Participations in seminars, conventions and educational forums around the world are part of its strategy of projection and sustained growth. Events like the Blockchain International Show London, Consensus2018 in New York prove it.

Breaking the language barriers, they launched the Telegram accounts for the Dutch and Korean public.

As we can see, no detail has escaped them.

It all started with the work test (POW) then the evolution led to the stake test (POS) but GoChain bets on something new, a new algorithm of more efficient consensus: the reputation test (POR). Elements such as the security of the network, the efficiency of the method, the resources used and their development were decisive in defining its implementation.

The work test presents its main disadvantage in the enormous use of economic resources that are used to carry out the mining process. The high electrical consumption and high cost of hardware equipment, limit the users to perform the mining activity. On the other hand, its advantage lies in security, the mechanism makes an attempt of cyber attack against the network more costly than the benefits that could be obtained if it is achieved, which ensures users a high degree of invulnerability. On the other hand there is the environmental damage that can be generated with the exaggerated consumption of energy. All this means that the mining community is constantly shrinking and becoming exclusive, going against the main idea of ​​the concept of decentralization and putting the ecosystem at risk due to the attack of 51%.

The stake test has the obvious advantage of saving resources at the energy and hardware level. As its operation does not depend on the gross work to obtain the reward, but the total number of its own currencies in the network, the exaggerated consumption of energy is reduced, which is favorable with the environment, however, the participation runs more risks of attacks and vulnerabilities, the latter being easy to rectify, implementing improvements and new mechanisms, unlike the problems represented by the work test mechanism.

Weighing these factors, the GoChain team opted for the implementation of the Reputation Test (POR) where a consensus mechanism and the implementation of a questionnaire are chosen to the companies that will operate as block processing nodes within the platform.

Taking into account that the reputation of any organization is a main part of its surplus value and that a damage or judgment would imply losing the whole trajectory and greatly affecting their finances, the possibility of collusion is minimized. Also the reputation of the company generates confidence, because when knowing who is executing the transactions from where the nodes are operating, the clients and the other companies are motivated to invest opening the doors to a new form of association. The possibilities are endless.

I wanted to apply a simple concept in my designs but maintaining the same pattern. For this reason I used the same color palette in both presentations.
The spherical shapes refer to the global scope of the project.
In the first, I was inspired by Scalability and for the second I thought of the Distributed aspect of GoChain's MainNet.
