People Are Petitioning for a Game of Thrones Remake because they can't handle some harsh truths about life
When it comes to TV most people are accustomed to watch heroes win over the villains. It is the same narrative as with religious texts and popular mythology.
Most people can't handle the harsh realities of life. The fact that most heroes are villains and most villains heroes. The fact that we are more or less the same and driven by the same flaws. People got used of heroes saving the day and marching into the sunset in a newly created world of justice that will bestow a better tomorrow.
Episode 5 was probably the best thing I have watched recently. It shows the realities of war, leadership and the fact that it is all a game without rules.
Many people are petitioning for a season remake for various reasons. Mainly it is because they don't like to see their favorite heroes become villains. Mainly because at the end one of the most benevolent characters of the show turned out to be not so nice when she had her family killed (much like Cersei).
I think that demanding that they recreate the season again is too much. Things happened in a way and people must accept it, this does not mean that we should be satisfied with the result, but the creative work is theirs, the audience is only audience.
I dont think anyone actually expects them to remake the season. The petition is symbolic. It just a way for people to express their disappointment at having a decade of time invested in a show that in the end is shit.

I dont think that people have an issue with Daeneryse turning evil and burning down the city. I think many people expected her to become the mad queen. I think the issue people have is how awful the season is. Season 7 was bad because of how rushed it was and now season 8 is even worse by a long shot. Not only is it too rushed to properly develop the characters to have them do 180 degree personality shifts but half the scenes make no logical sense.
People are pissed with how the writers are slapping together plot lines that make no sense just so they can get themselves to their desired outcome. They are trying to wrap up the series fast and that has made this season like watching a series of train wrecks. I've stopped trying to understand to stupidity. Now I'm just going through the motions of watching it because I've already come this far.
Writer one: "I think Sanza should end up on the Throne?"
Writer two: "hold my beer!!"

I agree. In fact, seeing Daenerys turned into the villain is quite acceptable, the problem is that it is poorly developed in the script.
Exactly. Poor character development along with nonsensical plot lines make for a disastrous season.

I totally agree! I hope someone will remake the entire show after the books are finished (if they will ever be finished). The character development has been so painful to watch these past few seasons
