This is awesome. To become like Him(Christ) goes beyond praying....our prayers must birth His Face(Revelation knowledge)..and it is as we behold His face by revelation (as in a mirror)- 2cor 3:18... that we are changed, transformed,reconfigured,metarmophosis into His own very image, person, likeness, stature, essence and nature from one level of glory to another...so the higher the knowing the higher the glory...that's why He said in Isaiah that it is until the knowledge of the glory of the Lord takes over the Earth as the waters cover the sea..that's His will...thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.. that's why the seraphims in Isaiah 6....were shouting with a prophecy that the whole Earth is full of His glory...it is by WORD...that's the mystery behind sending the WORD to man to die and resurrect and become MAN like us..uhnnn..not the FATHER nor the HOLYSPIRIT..out of the 3 that beareth record..He was the one. Though the 3 are fully actively involved but it took the Word to come because the only instrumentality of man being integrated and joined to the Godhead is via WORD...that's the only tool of upgrading Man..no amount of prayers if not converted into Words of Eternal life will achieve that...if we pray for 100years...if we don't get the Words of Eternal life we will remain where we are in the state of our soul.
Though things will turn and change around us but we will fall short of His will ... which is INIQUITY...
That's why Peter didn't say we are not going away bcoz we have found prayers with you(Jesus)...no!!!!.. because there are other places they could get that infact even personally they could do that but he said ...to whom shall we go???
Please check that statement..he is saying if we can find another person with this words..ehn..ehn..we can go but since there's no other person yet with it at least for now...so he said to whom shall we go..YOU have what????...the WORDS of ETERNAL LIFE..simply say.
Little wonder those apostles enjoyed so much grace that we are just struggling with in the church and body of Christ today...those apostles and early Christians knew what they were looking for..they were after the Major thing...it was God who is Eternal life that they were after not any other thing.. that's why no one could deceive them..
The question is.......what are you after in your pursuit of God?.
meditate..pray, digest, change and walk(live) by these Words of Life...
