Dramatic Golden Black Sunset 2 Bangkok Thailand

I had a drought in my golden hour photos recently. I was only finding pink and purple when I looked at the pictures I have in my “Sky” folder. But I thought I found a good golden hour shot last week, and now I like this one too.

Both are dramatic and feature gold and black, although this one might be a little bit orange. I like it for having good contrast even if it is a bit blown out.

This was shot off my balcony in Bangkok Thailand. I had some great sunsets there. Now I face east in Kuala Lumpur and night falls very gently. I recently found a spot in one of the stairwells that may give me some good sunsets. Now all I have to do is know when sunset will come and get over there with my phone.

I was using a Canon ELPH160 point and shoot camera for this shot.
