One more hour until the long awaited Gods Unchained Raffle!

The Raffle to earn tickets by winning and either selling them or holding them for the big drawing is coming to an end! In approximately one hour the draw will happen and one lucky winner will receive the last Mythic of the season shown in the image above.

You can see the current holders of raffle taking a bet on winning the mythic and/or a lot of other items that come with it all distributed randomly except for the trinket being guaranteed and depending on the amount of raffles that you have. I am kind of hoping the underdog will win the mythic here even tho there is one address with 6,666,666 raffle tickets right now having over 10% chance of winning it. Over 3760 addresses that own at least 1000 tickets so it would be fun to see it going to someone random that has only played a few games. :)

The first Mythic of the genesis pre-sale was sold off for $62k in Eth so many are guesstimating this one to be somewhere around that price if not higher now after the recent gods unchained hype that has swept the internet.

I personally can't wait for more updates and especially a mobile version of the game as that's what got me hooked on Hearthstone at the time else I would have never bothered playing a TCG on my PC when I was into other games usually. Mobile and fiat integration is going to be exciting and I'm going to attempt to hold on to at least that before I decide to sell any cards from my collection to hopefully buy more Steem with it. ;)

Remember that these cards will never be minted again and will be combinable. 125 plain cards will be needed to turn it into a diamond card so if holders and whales go crazy on combining then the supply is going to drop really fast since with only 11% to go of the pre-sale this is currently all cards in existence.

Imagine that anywhere between 20-50x of the supply would decrease and the userbase would increase by 100-1000x (Hearthstone had 100 million players by November 2018 where as GU maybe has 5k right now), it is going to get difficult/expensive for competitive players who need certain genesis cards to fulfill their decks!

Don't worry though, this game is not pay2win, although I hope there will always be value in the genesis cards they have been careful not to make them too powerful. With them becoming immutable in stats soon it will mean that the core cards (which imo are too powerful atm) and other season cards will be the ones that will need adjustments instead around the genesis cards while further balancing the game out.

I am personally super excited and invested in this game and think it's one of the first to have a legit shot at mainstream adoption which won't just be good for the GU playerbase but for all crypto as it shows the benefits of blockchain in gaming and sooner or later they will realize how it benefits everything else as well.
