What!?, You can also say that this is propaganda I'm sharing, but as far as it portrays the true story of what is circulating in Ghana, I don't care whatever you will say. It is always best practices to call a spade a spade than to cover what is true picture of the story.

Let's face the fact; "Is Politics and Propaganda Our Game We Play in Ghana"?

This is open question to every Ghanaian out there who will get chance to share with me, because I'm going to post through some of our social media like Twitter and Facebook which I think most of our Countryside people are found here. Before then, this also my opinion that I want to share here through Steemit Community and you can also join us in https://www.steemit.com to share with us some of the great information we share here.

I don't think nobody ever prayed of this adversity of Covid-19 pandemic invasion in all parts of the World, killing millions of our beloved people, well productive ones. Did any one of us ever thought of having this inevitable situation and hard times that no mediation has even be confirmed curable to this pandemic? It's absolutely no! Or is any of us happy that we have been confined in our houses and campaigning for #StayAtHome since Covid 19 is real and exist? Is any of us excited of being in the lockdown quarantine era, limiting our freedom of movement and liberty of work and association? Is any of us interested in the ban that Government place of social gathering on churches, mosques, funeral rites and weddings because of the fear and panic of being infected with the Coronavirus? Is any of us in Ghana feel comfortable of our beloved school children have been ceased to go to school and observe great social distancing for a while? I think our freedoms are very paramount and vital for us so nobody in this Country is happy of all these happenings. Ever since the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic, the Government and other philanthropist have made conscious effort to support the situation, that's why money and other materials have been always donated to help these infected persons with the disease.

Why then this fake politics and propaganda that some of us are circulating around most of our social media? No one is happy that Teachers being one group of active productive work forces of this Country should still be at home for the past three months in this lockdown. But, I think the situation at stake has called for this unexpected situation. No one take delight in this when our productivity is failing. We admit the fact that when schools close down for three months students performances go down and this will lead to decrease in productivity in the Country. Let me ask; is the Teachers own decisions to stay back home or the Government discretion having the menace this Covid 19 will cause that led them declared a total close down of schools in the Country? If it's the Government who called off the continuity of schools in this lockdown period, why do you incite the Government to cut down Teachers pay by fifty percent(50%) or Teachers should not be paid at all? We will admit that in real business terms , when it turn out that the producers or input forces size diminish, it turns decrease to output levels thereby decreasing the total productivity. When that happens, the employer tries to reduces the size of his employees to meet his expenditures. But there is the clause of unforseen circumstances that are catered for in case of any eventualities or occurrences. And this what is happening between the Teachers and the State. The Government can't say that because of Coronavirus outbreak which has caused Teachers to stay at home for barely three months so he is reducing Teachers' pay by half of the gross salary or even wouldn't pay at all. I think it would be an unfair decision for the Government to take up that step.

It is about time we stop playing that political and propaganda game in our quest to find what will promote our beloved nation Ghana. I know the Country is undergoing hardship conditions that call for support from each one of us here. That is what we should think the way forward to address. Like what other good Citizens have done, donating huge sum of money to support the the cost that Government is incurring on this Covid 19. We have various companies, individuals and group of businessmen who are endowed with money to support Government in that capacity to reduce the payment cost of Teachers in this time of Covid 19 and its associate lockdown. How would you feel if you happen to be one of these Teachers and you hear this disheartening words from your colleagues public worker? Already, Teachers pay is nothing to write home about, we are claiming that justice will done on their Salaries, then what will their status of living be if it should happen that half of their salaries have been cut off?

Let's look at the number of Teachers in Ghana now. They outnumbered all the public workers in the whole nation. We have about #96,715 Teachers in Ghana Education Service according to 2014/2015 EMIS report. I think this number has by now increased about 2/3 of the this Teachers' population. Some of these Teachers are our Moms, Dads, Uncles, Friends, Sisters, Brothers, and even our families. Imagine that we make them suffer because of Covid 19 outbreak. How would you feel if they are not paid that lead them to beg for alms for survival or sorry to say steal which will never happy in their lives? Isn't it hurting if we find our own people crying out for help while the is no help coming.

Each of us here in Ghana has passed through the hands of Teachers as you all know. Most of Doctors, Nurse, Marketers, Businessmen, Lawyers, Architect, Bankers and many people in the various work fields have passed through the hands of Teachers. Let us show some love for Teachers in our beloved nation rather than playing political and propaganda games.
