The Himalaya Dividation according to Geogrpahy
The great Himalaya is the largest mountain range in the world. This range is very large and so we divided into many parts. Every part is dividation based upon height. According to the height, it is divided into four part-
- Trans Himalaya
- Greater Himalaya
- Middle or short Himalaya
- Shivalik range
Trans Himalaya-
Trans Himalaya is situated on the north side of Greater Himalaya. This range is consist of Tibbet, China countries.
Greater Himalaya-
In this range, average mountain heights are 6100 meters. This is the range where almost all highest mountain peak is situated. Everest is the famous example of this range. Also kachanjangha, Nanda peak. This Himalaya belongs to India, Nepal, Bhutan, and China.
Middle Himalaya-
This is situated in the south of Greater Himalaya. Average Heights are less thank greater Himalayas. This is in India, Nepal, and Bhutan.
Shiwalik Range-
This is also known as outer Himalaya. Shiwalik range situated in the south of middle Himalaya. Average Height is less than Middle Himalaya. It is approx 1600 meter. This is situated in India, Nepal.
