Currently there are many options for learning from home, more in this quarantine. Every time the groups of WhatsApp arrive countless links of courses, books, forum chat, video conferences and you stop counting; which I think is fabulous. I am always choosing the options, to choose a few, because it is not so much the time I have available for virtual activities.

Today I "attended" a chat forum called "PERSIRT", by Luis Alfredo Vargas Alemán, a coach in clear growth, from which I have enjoyed learning.

I wanted to share with you something that I found interesting about this topic and that is the difference between PERSIRT and INSIST.

In today's chat, I understood that to insist can mean repeating the same actions many times, or tripping over the same stone many times, without that meaning an advance towards your purpose. Even seeing that you don't get the expected results, your mind or your being is not open to other options and keeps trying the same thing, failure after failure.

On the other hand, to persist is to explore all the options that will lead you to your goal: you go along a path, if you find a wall, you jump or look for another way out. You are always experimenting with alternatives, without losing sight of your goal. When you persist, you are connected to the creativity that inspires you to pursue your purpose. I would say that every goal achieved comes from persistence

Another important point, which Luis Alfredo touched upon today, was about the price you are willing to pay for that which you love so much. We all always want something, for example, I may want to lose 10 kilos. But I love to eat, I enjoy bread, pasta, chocolate, pizzas... So my real ability to persist in reaching that goal is seriously compromised, even before I start any diet. That's why I believe that knowing your purpose in life is unquestionably important to achieve success, because every step you take is oriented in that direction and nothing will be too much for you.

The conviction that you're doing what you love admits of no doubt.
