Can I Teach Tagalog Just Because I Can Speak Tagalog?

Can i teach tagalog just because i can speak tagalog? May be not. I was invited to teach tagalog, to which i joined only to find myself learning tagalog again. I learned tagalog simply from friends and day to day life in the Philippines. I can read tagalog but that is likely because the alphabets in the tagalog are very much like those in English language. Anyway, i found out in the video below how good i am in my understanding of the tagalog language after attempting to teach tagalog
