Look what I found!

In the fall here in the Ozarks, the male tarantulas crawl out of their burrows in search of mates. You can see them crawling across the road sometimes, which is how I found this one. They've got some big fangs and venom, but I've never been bit by one yet. Do you have spiders this big where you live? If so, do you ever pick them up? Enjoy the photos!
