We love God because he first loved us.

God's love for humanity is indeed unmatched. Even after sending His son to the cross in exchange for us, He is still in the business of saving and forgiving one's sin. With every man he saves, he confers sonship to him [or her]. No other God can do this, and no human can love this way.
