Last weekend, I spent my time making a bear and also her bedroom, it inspired to the tin case I found when I cleaned up my room on Saturday. The materials used would only felt, it was easy but took time to make. If you want to make one for you or your child, I welcome you to copy mine. Hope you could make it easily after you read this article.

MATERIALS & THINGS NEEDED:

-Felt fabric in medium brown, cream, soft pink, and also white

-Pencil

-Ruler

-Scissors (I needed two kind of scisssors here, the paper scissors and also the craft scissors)

-Sewing needle

-Embroidery floss in medium brown, sift pink, black, and white

-Flowery ribbon

-Flexible wire

-Double sided tape

HOW TO MAKE IT:

I started from the mini bear. First, I measured my tin box. I wanted to make sure that the bear would be small enough inside. I cut the brown felt like below, two for the body, front and also back. I also cut some shapes for ears, hands, feet and a cream for near mouth area.

Also I cut two small circles with soft pink for cheeks. Next I cut the rectangle shape of soft pink colour then tied it tight on the middle with the soft pink floss then also sew it on the bear’s body. I made this sewn from the back so it won’t be seen from the front or back (we would cover it with the back of the body part).

Then I made the embroidery with two strains of black floss for the closed eyes with lashes, then sew the cheeks with soft pink floss, embroidery with black again for the nose and mouth, this also used to sew the cream circles unto the front body part of the bear. Then sew around from the bottom.

I attach the two feet first with the handsewing of brown floss (also 2 strains), then going up to the hands and also ears. Voila, this cute little bear is finished!

Next, I made her bed with soft pink and white felt. Cut three parts of them, sew with whipped stitch for the white to join with the soft pink front part. Last, blanket stitch around to join the front and back part. Now, the bed is also finished.

Last, I cut the white for the tile of the bedroom and pink for the wall, I made a small window there too.

Cut the white felt and then tie with the ribbon. Made two of it. Last make 3 holes for each of them to put the wire on it. I also cut small on the soft pink to put it.

Then, I added the double sided tape on my tin’s cover in order to paste the wall. And this is it, the cutest bear in her bedroom is finished.
