Fundamentals don't matter. Neither do people, except the small number who sit in charge of creating — and making — "air money," that is the money between the real cost of something, and the stated cost.
Frankly, I think the world needs to stop worshiping at the "Altar of Eternal Growth." We need to all re-set and learn to be content with simply having "enough."
That is a very good point. Perhaps the current crisis will set that line of thinking in motion...
