๐ฟ๐ ๐ Nature in my House - #4 Aloe Vera ๐ท

This is the fourth part of this series that I started with the title "Nature in my House", which came up with the idea of โโexposing here in my blog the plants and herbs I own in my house, explaining its properties and health benefits , accompanied of course with photos of my own.

Today I will talk about a very special plant that I have here in my collection, which is Aloe Vera, known here in Brazil popularly as Babosa.
The optimum of this plant is it is very useful both for external use, such as Aloe Vera gel, as for internal use through its juice. Its gel is great for treating burns and other skin diseases. Juice is widely used in products for the treatment of gastrointestinal problems.
How could it not be, I will cite some benefits of Aloe Vera for health:
Antibacterial and Antiviral Properties : According to research, the extract of Aloe Vera are able to act against some types of bacteria or fungi.
Antioxidant and Detoxifying = Aloe Vera possess antioxidant and detoxifying actions capable of fighting free radicals that contribute to the aging of the cells of our body.
With regard to your gel, it is very effective for skin hydration, skin blemishes, scarring, insect bites, muscle aches, sunburn, among other benefits.

Aloe vera is such a nice plant. It seems to handle a wide range of conditions and even some neglect, just fine. Does your aloe vera flower very often? Does your aloe vera set new little plants from its base? Do you divide your aloe vera into more plants? How do you use your plants? I would really enjoy seeing any of that, too! : ) Happy gardening!
Hello @haphazard-hstead, I appreciate your comment. From aloe vera as I have only one copy, I have not yet made any "experience" with it, how to use it as a medicine or something. But since always I use your gel that has many properties mainly for skin.
I hope you get some new little aloe vera plants sprouting from the base of your one plant. If you have one, you will eventually have many, lol. Here's to the future of your aloe vera! : )
I love aloe vera. When sun are hot. This help me a lot for feel better again. Good to know more things about aloe vera.Cheers

Aloe vera is a very good choice for skin care - I use it often (in some products) ;-)
Hello @pery. The aloe vera I usually use your gel to moisturize the skin or when I suffer some injury, healing is fast. Wonderful.

I remember in the movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, the first thing the sailors did when making it to the islands in the Americas was to boil huge aloe vera leaves and smear the salve all over their infected skin. This made me think of that, but aloe juice is great too.
Yes, that's true, my friend @vegascomic. Impressive a plant with so many properties. I usually use gel to moisturize the skin and sometimes if I suffer any injury or burn. A holy remedy.
