Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary, How Does Your Garden Grow?
Public Domain, Link
I finally decided to go to our local grocery store's little gardening center and pick out some annuals for my hanging pots and such. I normally go for perennials but those that fit my sun/shade areas are few and far between. I also finally got around to putting those plants into their respective pots for the year. Here is what I did:
These little guys will have to wait to go into window boxes on my daughter's playhouse
This will be my first time growing "Bedhead." I hope it fills out more.
I don't remember the name of this one...and the sleeping dog is Blossom. Haha!
Star Gazer Petunias...or something like that.
No tag, I don't know. Yay!
These will be really pretty as they get bigger. Al...something. I think.
Now for my peonies! They're all getting ready to just burst into bloom! The ants have been hard at work.
Red Columbine in with one of my Peonies with a Hollyhock encroaching on its space.
A Mullein that decided to grow here. I'm keeping it.
Marigolds
So that's how some of my flowers are doing. Hope you enjoyed this little walkabout. Thanks for stopping by!
Is this the first mullein you've kept? Sounds like they are worth growing...
It grows all over our property. I try to make my husband leave it alone since the birds love the seeds so much in the fall. It has wonderful medicinal uses, though most people I know have just used it as emergency toilet paper while camping! Hahaha!!!
Soft yet strong! haha
Beautiful flowers! I know the name of the unknown, but can't for the life of me remember it!
Well that's no help! Haha!! ;) I wish I hadn't thrown its tag away so quickly.
I save the tags and seed packets and file them in pocket photo albums so I have a quick reference for what I planted each year....
That's such a great idea! It's a bit too late for me with some of mine though. Haha! But there is always next year!
Lovely garden! Can't wait to see pictures of everything blooming!
Keep an eye out! I'm hoping to get that one done either tonight or tomorrow.
@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.

Wow, you have a lot of variety going on. Before the year is over, you are going to have just about every color one can think of and they are going to make for some more great photos. Great Job!
Thank you, @knowledge-seeker! I didn't think of it that way, but you're right! I won't run out of photography material this summer for sure!
