Summer flowers from Brisbane, Australia.

Afternoon steemers,
It's been a long time since my last Horticulture related posts so I thought I would share some of the flowers I captured over summer.
These are all flowers from gardens I care for and some of these photos have been shared on my instagram before this post, so check that out too!
All photos are taken on my phone, by me, as always ☑

The ever so beautiful Argyreia nervosa or Hawian Baby Woodrose is a prolific flowerer here in Brisbane. It can also be invasive if you don't stay on top of it.

Thankfully summer is now over as we had some brutal 40C days with literally no sign of rain.
A lot of our gardens have irrigation systems in place but the ones that didn't really suffered during this period.

Roses

Double double delights. 😂

A beautiful red.

Peachy apricot.

Vines

Dalechampia 'Pink Bows' is a unique climber and quiet vigorous given the right conditions.*

A tendril that caught my eye, there are two climbing plants in this blog, can you guess which one this belongs to?

The same tendril as above.

Hibiscus

This beauty was nearly as big as my hand.

A very common but still striking red variety.

This yellow Hibiscus was my favourite of the summer.

Brugmansia

Eveytime it rains this peach variety litteraly explodes in bloom.

Orange sunset has a nearly overwhelming scent!

The white could possibly be my favourite this year, very velvety.

Is that enough flowers?
Of course not, here's one more for a little reminder to stop and admire nature as often as possible!!

The legendary Acacia Maidenii.

Thanks for stopping by steemy ones and may the rains be with you!
Happy gardening,
Sam.

Great looking as usual, but the heat has been brutal here, too. Were your summer rains also very late?

Thanks,
Yes summer rain was extremely late!
Same there I'm guessing?
