Good question. I do have experience with the traditional ground level methed. This is the first time doing raised beds, but I like them a lot more.
- I do not have to bend over so far.
- With pathways, I do not compact the soil in the bed allowing the plant roots to grow so much easier.
- Heck of a lot easier to weed due to non-compacted soil
